Pilates on the Yarra 2025
We kicked off February with our Pilates on the Yarra event, the perfect blend of wellness, relaxation and community! Held in partnership with Afloat, Melbourne’s iconic floating venue, the talented instructors from Sum Of Us Studio, and the skincare and SPF experts La Roche-Posay.
Afloat provided the perfect setting, right on the Yarra river which instantly brought a sense of tranquility. Afloat’s capri themed upper deck was transformed into an open-air pilates studio with our MoveActive equipment and accessories.
The vibrant pops of colour from our Limoncello Pilates Balls and Limoncello Resistance Bands blended effortlessly with the space, complementing the lemon trees and potted plants. The Capri-inspired theme came to life with the refreshing splashes of blue on the upper deck, perfectly matched by our Vegan Leather Powder Blue Yoga Mats.
We started the morning with a one-hour pilates class led by the amazing instructors from Sum Of Us Studio, focusing on mindful movement that is accessible to all. Guests slipped into their Grip Socks from our latest Pilates Club collection, featuring the Clubhouse Stripe, Racquet Club and Petite Bloom styles - providing grip and peace of mind to flow through the workout. The class was the perfect opportunity to connect with your body, focus on your breath and unwind.
Afterwards, we moved into a session of deep relaxation, led by a sound healer, which allowed attendees to immerse themselves in the soothing sounds and focus on their breath. To finish, the Afloat team served nourishing refreshments and a spread of fresh fruit and granola.
Our guests didn’t leave empty handed - each attendee received a custom printed drawstring bag filled with thoughtful goodies, including sun-protection essentials from La Roche Posay, a Keep Cup, a delicious treat from Health Lab and exclusive vouchers from all our incredible partners. Thank you for being part of such a special event and ensuring everyone had a little something extra to enjoy as they headed into the weekend.
