Me by Aleenta 'online'

What has been your experience from moving from studio classes to online classes?  

We are loving it! During these crazy COVID-times, it has been awesome to be able to continue to connect with our clients who are in lockdown or unable to get into Studio. There is no doubt it has been an adjustment, but I think for many of us, we didn’t think we would enjoy working out at home as much as we have.

Tell us the Story behind ‘me by Aleenta’?

We are not supermodels, influencers or super slim with perfect bods. We are real women with the same body, time, food and motivation struggles as everyone else. We all do our best to fit healthier choices into our everyday.

As we got older and life got busier, we looked for something online for women as we age and go through different life stages – getting married, having bubs, post-bubs and simply getting older (yup is happens to all of us ). But our options were limited. Awesome cardio workouts if you’re in your 20s, but for 30 plus women not so much.

We realised we needed a Program by real, everyday women who get it. Not Programs created by celebrities or individuals gifted with amazing genetics. And workouts which are achievable, low-impact and great for our bodies and minds.

So, we put our heads together on how we help women make healthier choices easy and ‘Me by Aleenta’ was born. Whether you are at home, at the park, before work, during work our workouts are quick and focussed. Nobody has time for long workouts at home. We get it. The kids need breakfast, school lunches are waiting, and that week-old washing really needs to be folded. So our workouts are 10, 15 and 30mins long.

What are 3 things that make your online studio unique/different?

‘Me’ is about me, you and every woman you know. It is born out of our desire to have a real space for women to:

1. unapologetically enjoy 30mins for themselves each day with quick, fun and effective workouts designed specifically for women.

2. get nutritional tools and recipes to make it easy for us to make healthier food choices

3. enjoy a community to support and lift us up. 

Do you believe online platforms will play a key role in studio business
strategies moving forward creating a multi channel studio?

Absolutely. There is no doubt the world has forced us to change and evolve this year. How we consume, shop and exercise will be forever changed. Our online platform is just getting started. We have big plans and it will evolve and change over time. Studios will always be a key tenet of Aleenta and the human connection that we all crave (even more so now!). Online now gives us choices. Previously you could only workout if you could get to a Studio. Now, it doesn’t matter where you are you can still connect with us to move your body.


Will you be filming anything other than classes (online tutorials etc) to keep up with the demand for online?

Yes, me by Aleenta has three pillars – fitness, nutrition and community. And includes Programs to meet specific client needs at different life stages. So we have classes, challenges, recipe demonstrations and much much more! 

What is the most rewarding thing about being a part of the pilates/yoga/barre community? especially now in the current climate.

We started Aleenta to provide women with a space to unapologetically focus on themselves. To have time to connect, move and escape the treadmill of our busy lives.

The most rewarding part is hearing the stories where we have quite literally have changed people’s lives for the better. When we hear stories about how Aleenta has been a catalyst for someone’s recovery, transformation, confidence or health journey - there is simply nothing better. Helping women live happier and more fulfilling lives is so rewarding. I cannot imagine doing anything I enjoy more.
